The selection of the paper - onto which an image is reproduced - is very important in realising the characteristics of the image & for the overall 'Feel' of the artwork &, upon placing an order, you will be contacted to discuss the type of paper to be used & the sort of finish you would prefer.
Monochrome & Giclée prints are produced onto textured Fine Art - Hahnemuhle papers * - specifically chosen for their Archival Quality & Longevity & the quality of the inks that can be used.
Characterised by the Depth & Density of Tone, a Wide Colour Gamut, a fine Tonal & Colour Gradation & the Sharpness of the Images - the final print is an outstanding copy with appropriate depth & vibrancy whilst reproducing well balanced & muted tones & exceptional detail** - when required.
The paper textures chosen & the Matt / Semi Matt finish - create a nuanced reproduction & are particularly suited to monochromatic & abstract images ( creating a watercolour finish )
For Fine Art reproduction on a smoother surface the same qualities of artwork can be achieved with Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Smooth & Fine Art Baryta papers.
